The Petit Saint-Jean oliver grove is located on an exceptional land, the Valensole plateau in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
Our olive trees, dominated by the Aglandaù variety, fit well to the plateau heigth (600m, 1969ft) and climate.
Our olive oil is produced according to the requirements of organic farming, and follows the specifications of the Haute Provence PDO.
In 2009, our oil won the Gold medal of the Concours Général Agricole in Paris. It possesses the caracteristic flavours of the Haute-Provence PDO : a strong taste with cut-grass and artichoke flavours.

We are small independant producers. We decided to continue a family exploitation around an old Provençal farmhouse where we have our roots.
The olives harvest, which stands in November and December, is an opportunity to bring together friends and family for a friendly day : les Olivades.
